LOBOT
June 2006
Assembled from the parts of dead cheerleaders (which, in turn, were assembled by freelance caddys/rodeo hands), Lobot is a northern band. Their birth was a bloody one, but in the end the people called it "good". There are four of them (plus one they keep hidden in assorted car trunks, but rarely do they need the sousaphone - a brass wind instrument of intimidating size, similar in range to the tuba, with a flaring bell and a shape adapted to being carried in marching bands. Mort plays it.), there has never been five of them in any dimension of any sort (and, of course, Quantum chaos is driven by Emergence theory principles operating at the level of individual quantum foam fluctuations). Their name derives from an obscure and rarely referenced nature god worshiped by the Picts in the middle ages named Lobot. He was not particularly a nice god, but was quite loud, and the Picts loved loud (and aloud - do you?).
