SIDECAR RADIO

SIDECAR RADIODecember 2007

Sidecar Radio have been attacking the Northeast since 2002 with their unique mix of hand-grenade rock, complete with reggae shrapnel and hip hop smoke. Through years of constant shows, Sidecar Radio have streamlined their sound and honed their skills to become the cohesive six-legged juggernaut of rock they are today. Sidecar's work ethic and explosive live show has become the foundation of a band that has sacrificed their personal lives to further their craft, and to spread their music.

In November of 2005 the band released "Soundtrack from the Upside" to local critical acclaim and much regional anticipation. The Portland Phoenix called it one of the region's best new albums of the year and it was a featured pick in the national boarding magazine N'East Magazine. Regional radio airplay followed as well as use in local television commericals.

The band was voted BEST ROCK ACT in Maine in the 2006 Phoenix Best Music Poll, and soon headed into the studio to record their follow-up EP, entitled 'Static'. The EP was released in June of 2007. Static''s first single 'Dog Days' was picked up by Citadel Broadcasting's WCYY in Portland Maine for regular rotation, proving that Sidecar's sound, though local and unsigned, could stand strongly among major label acts in rotation such as Tool and the White Stripes.

Sidecar Radio's success in their hometown of Portland, Maine and throughout New England over the past two years proves that the band has hit it's stride and is ready to bring their music and live show to the next level. Armed with an iron-clad work ethic, a unique and original sound, powerful songwriting and musicianship, and years of experience, Sidecar Radio is a band on a mission, with no signs of slowing down. http://www.myspace.com/sidecarradio
