We're 10! Higher Ground is celebrating ten years of live music! Both the HG Ballroom and Showcase Lounge will be open offering an unforgettable night of entertainment. The Dave Grippo Funk Band will kick off the show in the HG Ballroom with two sets starting at 8pm, followed by two very special sets of choice classic rock covers performed by the Higher Ground Family Allstars. DJs A-Dog and Big Dog will be spinning in the lounge all evening, along with a continuously running multimedia presentation/retrospective slide show and poster exhibit. Magic Hat has crafted a special 10th Anniversary Ale that will be on tap for the evening. The night will feature numerous other surprises and special guests.

Two contests are running as part of the 10th Anniversary celebration. Details below...

1. BEST HIGHER GROUND STORY CONTEST
With over 3000 shows and 10 years we're guessing there are some pretty good stories out there. Did you meet the love of your life at a Higher Ground show? Had a transcendent moment that defined the rest of your life? Discover a band that became the soundtrack to your life? Whatever your story is we want to hear it. The stranger the better.

Email your story (300 words or less) to info@highergroundmusic.com with the subject line BEST. STORY. EVER. The top 10 stories will be published on the website and win some free stuff (tickets, CDs, DVDs, ice scrapers and anything else we've got lying around the office). Contest ends on April 14.

2. MOST HIGHER GROUND SHOWS CONTEST
Think you've been to more shows than anyone else? Do you come so often you feel like part of the staff? Do you have a sock drawer stuffed with ticket stubs? If you feel like you've got a claim at being a regular at Higher Ground shows we want you to prove it.

Email info@highergroundmusic.com with the subject line REGULAR with the total number of shows you can account for (ticket stubs) by April 14 and the top 3 attendees will win some free stuff (tickets, CDs, DVDS, ice scrapers and anything else we've got lying around the office). Be prepared to bring in your ticket stubs for verification.
