bio- In the beginning, there was Lamont, and there was Scissorfight. Lamont formed in 1999 under a heavy haze of whiskey and women problems. Possible despite themselves, they were Boston's reigning kings of thunderboogie, a big greasy mess of ZZ Top and Motorhead, thick-riffed and punk-savage.Scissorfight, on the other hand, started up in 1995. They were from New Hampshire, and consisted of several bleary-eyed hunters and fisherman with anti-social disorders. Musically, they sounded like a 70s hard rock band being murdered by psychotic bikers, a sound which resulted in mayhem every time they played, both onstage and in the crowd, where hundreds died, savagely. Well, that's not true, but there was usually so much blood on the dancefloor that it sure did look like it. Eventually, both bands split up. Why? Listen, don't be so pushy. Let's just say shit happens. So then, after several months of drinking binges and crying jags, the coolest dudes in Scissorfight and the guy in the trucker hat from Lamont got together and plugged in. This was earlier this year. This year being 2007. The result? Rock n fuckin' Roll, Jack. A big scary blast of it, somewhere between AC/DC and Slayer, with an extra dollop of Johnny Cash and Iggy Pop on top. Back home they're already headlining all the usual dives, and women in tight pants buy them drinks all the time. As we speak, they are in the studio, recording their debut album with grammy nominated producer/engineer/accomplice-in-petty crime Andrew Schneider. So what do they want? They want to rock your face and stomp on your guts. And if you know what's good for you, you'll let 'em. Because when you Mess with the Bull, well, you know the rest.

Blinded By Ragehttp://www.myspace.com/blindedbyrage

Originally formed in 1996, Blinded By Rage paved the way for a return to hardcore in Vermont.Always an original, Blinded By Rage has managed to find that ever elusive blend of the genres that many bands have attempted but not quite captured. Covering everything from brutal "old school" half time breakdowns to more intricate and melodic compositions, Blinded By Rage has captivated audiences on both sides of the of the Metal and Hardcore divide. Blinded By Rage is aiming high, and rising even higher. Where were you when the epic began? Will you be there to witness the wreckage? Or simply be swallowed in the wake of a new age?

Timelesshttp://www.myspace.com/metalistimeless

In the world of metal today you have your Coca-Colas & you have your Pepsis that same metal taste in a different metal can. Well, as for TIMELESS, they are the Dr.Pepper of this scene. Whether it's genius, or insanity & whether you love them or hate them, you will never be able to forget TIMELESS. In a genre of music where 99.9% of the bands have no niche, no creativity, no originality: TIMELESS fall into that point one percentile.

The New Tony Bennetthttp://www.myspace.com/newtonybennett

Formed in Summer 2004, a brutal and melodic metal group came together with influences ranging from Pink Floyd and Coheed and Cambria to Cannibal Corpse and Dark Funeral. Originally featuring Nick Chilcote, Jason Held, Zack Chilcote and C1106 "Keenan Bouchard". A 6 track demo was released in April of 2005, and they began playing out in May of 2005. Zack left the band in June of 2005, and Rodney Martel took his place on the bass guitar. The band signed to Avalon Independent in August of 2005. Keenan left the band in December of 2005 to pursue other interests. His younger brother, Rafe, joined as the drummer to round out the lineup. Continuing to write new material, the band pushes onward, with plans to record in the near future. After doing a two week tour with Angels Beneath Me (Hegira Records), Rafe and the band parted ways and Justin B. joined the band. Pursuing a much heavier sound the band continues to crush its way through the extreme music scene in VT.
