Moon Taxi is an explosive Rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. They have spent the past couple years touring relentlessly, honing their unique sound. When not headlining their own shows, they have opened for acts such as Umphrey's Mcgee, Matisyahu, Gov’t Mule, the New Mastersounds, and DJ Logic. Their growing list of festival appearances includes the 10,000 Lakes Festival, Moe’s Summer Camp, Birmingham’s City Stages, the Terrapin Hill Harvest Festival, and Huntsville’s Big Spring Jam. Live Ride, Moon Taxi’s live album recorded in their hometown of Nashville, was released in February ‘09. It features eight previously unreleased songs as well as favorites from their debut album, Melodica. It is available online and at select independent record stores.
