The Jimmy Eat World performance scheduled for September 26 has been postponed to October 3. All previously issued tickets will be honored at the October 3 show.
If you’re unable to make the October 3 performance, please contact the HG box office (Box@highergroundmusic.com) before September 30 to coordinate a refund. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Due to Vermont’s high vaccination rate and significantly declining local hospitalization rates we will no longer be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative PCR result for events at Higher Ground, unless requested by the artist. This change will take effect on April 1st and will apply to performances at both the Ballroom and the Showcase Lounge.

Jimmy Eat World, formed in 1993 in Mesa, Arizona. The band is composed of lead vocalist and lead guitarist Jim Adkins, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Linton, bassist Rick Burch, and drummer Zach Lind. They have released ten studio albums. The four-piece’s commercial breakthrough came with the release of several singles from their album Bleed American, with “The Middle” reaching No. 1. Their follow-up album, Futures, featured the No. 1 song “Pain“. The band released their tenth album, Surviving, in October 2019.
