“At that time I was pretty fed up with overly decorative emo-band posters and wanted to create the opposite look. For me, reducing the concept of girl rock to a couple of drumsticks in a pink tote bag in combination with some unemotional typography seemed to do the trick. My only regret is shortening the cross bar on the left hand side of the ‘t.’ Completely irrational.
