He’s collaborated with artists as diverse as Trombone Shorty, Galactic, Steel Pulse, Tall Heights, Martin Sexton, Anders Osborne, and George Porter, Jr; shared bills with the likes of Tedeschi Trucks Band, Ani DiFranco, Todd Snider, The Wood Brothers, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and Mavis Staples; and racked up more than 150 million streams on Spotify alone. NPR’s Mountain Stage compared his “eloquent, soulful songwriting” to Bill Withers and James Taylor, while Relix celebrated his “poetic Americana,” and The Boston Herald raved that “he’s made a career of confident, danceable positivity.”

Montbleau’s freewheeling new album finds him exploring the full spectrum of his influences like never before, touching on folk, rock, funk, soul, hip-hop, and reggae, all with a preternatural ease that belies the intensely focused craftsmanship behind it. The songs are sprawling and unpredictable, grappling with a modern world perpetually teetering on the edge of chaos, but the performances are relentlessly optimistic, insisting on hope and joy in the face of it all. The result is Montbleau’s most vulnerable and cathartic work yet, an album that acknowledges the inevitability of doubt and pain while at the same time celebrating our limitless capacity for growth and love.

Sister Speak is the recording alias of Canadian singer, guitarist, and songwriter Sherri Anne Nyberg. With roots stretching from Canada’s west coast to Sweden, Sister Speak takes audiences on a captivating journey with her blend of alternative, indie-folk, blues, and Cali-roots influences. With Sherri Anne’s soulful vocals, compelling guitar work, and a backing band of groove and energy, Sister Speak’s sound resonates deeply with fans across the globe.

Her 2026 tour dates promise to bring the music back to beloved cities, including her adoptive new home regions of Vermont and Montreal.

Sister Speak has released five albums to date, each described by Nyberg as “moments of extreme vulnerability transformed into music.” Known for powerful live performances and lyrics rooted in empathy and human connection, Sister Speak has toured widely across North America and Europe, and her new EP, Coming Home, has ignited new excitement. Produced by Canadian Juno Award–winners Elisa Pangsaeng and Erik Neilson, The Coming Home EP marks a return to her roots, while inviting reflection on the responsibility we share – to each other and the earth.

In addition to performing at iconic venues like the Troubadour in Los Angeles and headlining at The Belly Up with her band in San Diego, Sister Speak has supported legendary acts like The Doobie Brothers, Air Supply, and reggae artist Don Carlos, among others. Her music has been featured on CBC, BBC, NPR, California Roots Presents playlists, and radio stations around the world. During her time in California, Sister Speak was voted “Best Pop” at the San Diego Music Awards and named “Top 10 Rhythm Guitarist” by NBC, alongside forming partnerships with Taylor Guitars and D’Addario. Recently, her song “Will it Ever” was featured in the John Travolta movie Cash Out. Fourth record, Love For All, features her band connected at every note and both a festive and vulnerable voyage of songs.
