About the show format:

This show includes interactive audience discussions, dating games, education, performances, and structured mingling opportunities. It runs two hours with an intermission and ends with a DJ Gay Bar dance/mingling party. The live matchmaking follows the format of the classic Dating Game. The show was on the air for over 30 years, and now it’s back, better, and gayer than ever in Vermont. One “dater” and three contestants are hidden from one another. The dater asks the contestants a series of questions to determine who may be their best match. Winners will get a gift card for a sponsored first date. Flirting is encouraged, but not required! Name tags are worn to show what you are looking for. The show content will range from sincere to unhinged. This is a live dating comedy show, after all… let’s get weird with it! 

How to apply to be on the show:

Apply here by September 25th, 2026! After you apply, matches will be created based on the pool of applicants. Chosen participants get into the show for free and have the chance to match with fellow singles and win date prizes. All identities and relationship structures are encouraged to apply! About the producer/host:

Jenna Emerson is a queer Master’s level, AASECT-certified sexuality educator and comedian. She has worked in the sex education field for over 10 years and as a comedian for nearly 20 years. She was a college professor teaching human sexuality and relationships, and has taught thousands of adults how to find, build, and maintain healthy romantic and sexual relationships.
