Made in the Mountains is a homegrown performance series supporting developing VT artists of all backgrounds in sharing their talents within our community. Each installment will feature a curated lineup of local bands and artists, constantly mixing it up to bring you a variety of genres and talents from all over the state.

Kicking things off with a night of Green Mountain Indie tunes, featuring:

Earthworm, an eclectic indie-rock band hailing from Burlington, VT, finds its strength in the combined songwriting talents of Earthworm’s three writers. Inspired by a wide assortment of artists from The 1975 to Mt. Joy to Fleetwood Mac, the worms have steadily accumulated original music that is diversified by Earthworm’s various inspirations but united in its listenability. Often described as earworms, Earthworm’s songs will twist around in your skull, depositing nutrients, and getting your face ready for planting season.

Indie rock powerhouse Super Blue was born from the vibrant basement show scene in Burlington, Vermont. Singer songwriter duo Max Gerlach and Emily Ertle alongside drummer Gus Lunde and bassist Evan Calves formed Super Blue in 2021, crafting original songs from the beginning in their sophomore year dorm room. The band’s music is characterized by personal lyricism and intricate, detail-oriented song structures that never fail to keep listeners excited and on their toes. Keep an eye out for their debut record, slated for release on April 5, 2024.

Armanodillo is a Burlington indie/folk rock band that has been playing together since January of 2022. Their songs are passionate, personal, and full of energy – from the driving guitars and high octane bass riffs to toe-tapping mandolin playing and rousing harmonies; their music is sure to bring the room closer together. Armanodillo is comprised of four members: Charlie, Erik, Gabe, and Logan, who have put together a strong repertoire of original music with a wide range of feeling and style between their songwriters and varied instrumentation.
