“For this poster, I was trying to pick up the vibe of their current album, which had a very distinct ‘island’ feel to it. Since seashells tend to be scarce in Vermont, I used the good old internet to to order a box full of them, proving that you can purchase just about anything from the web. Once they arrived, I assembled them in a guitar shape on my kitchen floor and photographed them. The text was created by cutting out letterforms from a manila folder.”
